Marco DeAnda

Marco DeAnda comes to the Tangled Roots’ location in Vernon Hills from another TR location. With him, he brings over a decade of management experience and his passionate to create a welcome team-driven workplace. His deep knowledge of craft beer and the brewing process allows him to share unique recommendations and highlight how every style can shine when paired with the right food. What drew Marco to Tangled Roots was the perfect combination of great food, craft beer, and small-town hospitality. Marco strives to bring a warm and memorable experience to every guest.

FROM OUR CHEF

Jose Guerrero

Born in Evanston Illinois, Chef Jose Guerrero was born into the food and hospitality industry. At the time he was born, his father worked as an executive sous chef for Hilton Hotels. Growing up in a family brought together by food, he was inspired with inevitable passion. Jose started his career in the restaurant industry and continued his training under a well-known North Shore Chef. In 2013, Jose was promoted to Executive Chef of Jolanes. Chef Jose will be creating dishes that will provide an incredible experience for each guest who comes through the door.
