I have enjoyed growing my career within the Tangled Roots Brewing Company organization. My background in hospitality and events provides me with a unique opportunity to provide the DeKalb community with a one of a kind dining experience. Looking forward to welcoming everyone to Keg & Kernel.

Jose Guerrero

Born in Evanston Illinois, Chef Jose Guerrero was born into the food and hospitality industry. At the time he was born, his father worked as an executive sous chef for Hilton Hotels. Growing up in a family brought together by food, he was inspired with inevitable passion. Jose started his career in the restaurant industry and continued his training under a well-known North Shore Chef. In 2013, Jose was promoted to Executive Chef of Jolanes. Chef Jose will be creating dishes that will provide an incredible experience for each guest who comes through the door.
